The Wagner GM5000EA electrostatic spray gun is an effective tool in electrostatic coating processes. These processes offer the highest surface quality and outstanding application efficiency, combined with traditional air spray atomisation. A built-in high voltage cascade lets it typically save between 30-50% of material compared to conventional coating processes. Wagner designed the GM5000 especially for flexible applications in harsh environments and different spray materials, as the electrostatic charge attracts paint to all exposed surfaces. It operates with the operator’s safety in mind. The control unit monitors the grounding of the gun, and the high voltage disconnects automatically as soon as grounding is interrupted. This gun is well-suited for mass-production environments and prioritises low-conductive solvent paints.
